It’s all a giant conspiracy! The scientists don’t want you to know the truth, the government imposes a secret limitation on the amount of inches-per-cable each citizen is allowed, I made up this comic for the sole purpose of putting the following sentence in the blog post for two consecutive strips, WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

In truth though, this is something that has been bugging me more and more lately (even in this, the wonderful world of wireless) — I actually can’t plug my phone in at the mains without it having to be a) on the floor, or b) balanced on the nearest ledge so precariously that a single notification could cause it to vibrate off the edge and end up a) on the floor. Is there really such a premium on wires and cables that their lengths are restricted to precisely “just about one or two inches too short”? Because if so, all that faffing around I did in Electronics class would certainly help explain all this student loan debt…

This strip is the first one I’ve inked traditionally in quite a while, panels and all, and if you want to own the original you get get it here.
